2009 Native American Film Festival Images
The Festival began with a five-day Native American Film Festival. Opening Night in the Clark Memorial Clubhouse in Clarkdale featured entertainment and two films with the filmmakers in attendance to discuss their work. The second day featured a new documentary by Michael Blake, author of Dances With Wolves, who discussed his project. The remaining three days featured several feature films and short subjects from many Native American tribes.

The Festival's official photographer was Colleen Miniuk-Sperry (www.cms-photo.com). Colleen serve on the Board of Directors for the Friends of Arizona Highways Photography Workshops. She is the Secretary and the Chair of the Photographer's Relations Committee. Her work has been published in the Arizona Highways magazine, books, and calendars, Pop Photo, Golf Ilustrated, Vancouver View, Atlanta Golf, AA Golf, North Valley Magazine, Sonora Es, Smith-Southwestern calendars and postcards.
